Quiet Labs builds earbuds that cancel the colleague who eats crisps at their desk. We gave the product a villain, a sense of humour and a creator line-up of people who actually work in noisy offices.

The low pressure

Audio tech ads all look the same: a model on a mountain, a slow pan, a spec sheet. Quiet Labs had a smaller budget than every competitor and a launch date that would not move.

The hunch we backed

We cast twenty office workers as creators and let them narrate the worst noises in their workplace. A recurring sketch called The Desk Next Door gave every ad a hook in the first second. Paid spend only went to versions that beat the organic baseline.

“We gave them a tiny budget and a fixed date. They gave us a villain called Kevin and our best launch ever.”
